- We feel extremely fortunate to have this boar in our stud and he may be as special of a boar as we’ve ever come across!! Loud N Clear wowed the crowd during our Feb 1 boar parade and if you haven’t watched it on our facebook page, we’d encourage you to do so.
- We purchased Loud N Clear at The Invasion in partnership with Newcastle Genetics. We have been extremely impressed with the All Out pigs that we’ve seen and we believe All Out’s phenotype offers a tremendous compliment on many of our Different League daughters out there. Loud N Clear hit me as a special pig in the preview, but when I found out he was out of an End Game x Trumpet sow I knew we had to get this guy bought. Fast forward five months and after bringing this guy back from our isolation barn I just about fell over watching Julio walk him for the first time and I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face for the rest of the day. He is just one of those special animals that you thank God that you have in your barn.
- Loud N Clear has hair dripping off of him, his legs are so hairy that the hair curls above his back feet. His skull is enormous as are his legs. More importantly, he’s a true athlete when set in motion and I would describe his rear leg and hock placement as perfect. He’s got a bold, wide, square chest, a gorgeous upper rib, and a big pinset. We need to pattern our hip and hind leg design after this guy! His pastern strength is ideal and he honestly looks like a show barrow that can win anywhere he goes. Needless to say, he will see heavy use here in Colusa and we believe he is a very important piece to the puzzle! THANK YOU to Tim Herren for putting him together and for offering him in The Invasion.
