  • While our Landrace program has been no secret over the years and has produced some big winners, we’ve quietly been building numbers these last few years and we feel like we are as strong and set up for success in this breed as we ever have been. And there’s NO DOUBT that Wildcat 124 is going to play a major role in that success moving forward!
  • Wildcat 124 hails from the best and deepest litter of Landraces we’ve ever farrowed. Littermate males were named Reserve Landrace Barrow at the NJSA Western Regional and Reserve Landrace Barrow at Arizona Nationals (different barrows), and perhaps the best individual in the litter is a keeper gilt that got to stay home. On top of this, Wildcat 124’s mom may be our most impressive female and she shares the same dam as Straight White Male — Overtime 91-8.
  • For those that follow the Landrace breed you know what kind of bone, hair, and skeletal stoutness Wildcat stamps into his offspring. 124 brings that to the table along with a ton of topside power, a big powerful upper hip, and an awesome hind leg. He’s got enormous cage laid into him and he should add bone, body, and muscle without sacrificing correctness of build.
  • We believe this guy offers a tremendous outcross to the High Heat and Happy Hour lines and he’s seeing nearly every Landrace sow this breeding season here in Colusa. On top of that, he’s seen some Chester sows to make white OPB’s as well.
